This is actually a one day event. Our goal is to clean up an area near Los Padres National Forest. This area will become part of a new preserve. We will be removing barb wire fence and other rancho detritus. Fence removal is important for the movement of wildlife, the safety of visitors, and the promotion of a natural ideal. This event will take place June 4th 9am to 2pm. I need at least 10 people to RSVP. Please bring water, sunscreen, and a hat. Lunch will be provided.
Join Lakeside’s River Park Conservancy’s group of Riverbed Hikers. Help make the San Diego River safer by joining this group and hike through areas of the San Diego Riverbed in Lakeside to document trash levels, graffiti and possibly other undesirable activities.
